On the 10th and 11th of June the first Meeting of the ENACTING Project ‘Generating Social Impact through Filming’ successfully took place! With great pleasure the five partners met each other’s representatives. The project coordinator Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. (Dresden), along with Synergeio Mousikou Theatrou (Larisa), ReadLab (Athens), Centro di Creazione e Cultura (Florence) and Les têtes de l’art (Marseille) shared information about their Organisations’ actions and fields of expertise and found out more about each other’s values and principles.

The partners discussed about the Project’s main Intellectual Outputs and each one presented their plan regarding the IO they are responsible for and how it will be handled. More importantly, participants shared their views on how civic engagement, inclusion  and promotion of common values can be achieved through art, and in particular through filming.  Social documentaries can be a powerful way of sending messages. Deprived local communities are an issue for all five aforementioned regions. Therefore, and especially due to Covid-19 impact, there is an urgent need for action. ENACTING Project and all partners wish to contribute to the enhancement of the situation for local communities.
